UML Forum/Tokyo was launched in 2001 as a technical conference focused on the technology and its applications around the Unified Modeling Language (UML) standardized at the Object Management Group. The program features keynotes, technical sessions, tutorials, demos, exhibits. OTI also initiated in 2002 the "UML Robot Contest" for embedded systems designers using UML with Lego Mindstorm. UML Forum is not just an annual, two-days event but an Japanese language UML portal Web site that provides information on technology, products, serveices, success stories, and standardization. Sponsors will have access to more than 12,000 of the UML users, developers, and distributors.
